Last weekend I had the wonderful opportunity of working with a special group of young ladies. While presenting at the Global History of Black Girlhood Conference this spring, I met Dr. Shireen Lewis, the director of an organization for girls and women of color in Washington D.C. She invited me to come and give a presentation on my work and to host a workshop with the girls.

They turned out great right ! As you can see, the adults had a pretty good time as well. Such a great experience working with these young ladies!
